Steve has over 30 years of experience in commercial foodservice and over 25 years in the commercial microwave oven category. He is widely recognized as the foodservice industry's expert on commercial microwave oven procurement, use and application as well as highly accomplished in sales management, distribution services, product fulfillment, buying group and independent dealer relations, contract negotiations and chain account development. 

Steve’s background includes 20 years with Panasonic in their commercial microwave oven division and most recently, prior to joining Empire, Vice President of Sales with ACP, makers of the Amana and Menumaster commercial microwave oven brands.

Steve has been an innovator for this commercial microwave category, developing a proprietary buying group reporting and forecasting portal which allowed each rep organization a single source to enter data specific to the restaurant equipment dealer. Steve was also the first factory rep to list and promote restaurant equipment on the Burger King/RSI eRedbook online purchasing platform. 

In 2008, he was recognized by Panasonic with an employee excellence award and in 2012, was presented with the highly regarded Panasonic Chairman’s award, given to the top performing account executive in all of North America.

Since 2017, Steve has managed and directed the Midea commercial microwave brand for The Empire Group.
